There are days when around 5 p.m. I start to crave something sweet but not too sweet … ..do you understand the feeling? I’m not a great lover of chocolate, I’d rather have cookies or cakes with cream. However, when I have these days it’s extremely dangerous for me to enter into a shop (I could buy anything),so I thought the best thing was to do something closer to a biscuit that had even a touch of healthy, only so i could get a good nights sleep free from guilt! Remember that summer is near and the trauma when you start to remove layers of sweaters and shirts could be a real shock. But on the other hand life is short, so it’s better not to be too strict with yourself. However if you also want to make an exception to the rule, I’ll advice this sweet creation, its easy to prepare and incredibly fast to eat !!
Ingredients
500 grams puff pastry
3 apples (such as rennet)
50 grams almond Butter
Granulated sugar
Brown sugar
Ground cinnamon
How it works:
From the pastry ,create small discs of 8 cm . With a fork prick the discs, slightly wet with a little water, pour the almonds on top. In a baking pan spread baking paper and place the small discs. Cover the discs with another baking paper and place on top a little weight (for example: dried beans or chickpeas ). Bake in oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees. Remove weights and baking paper and cook for 5 minutes more in the oven.
Cut apples into slices of 5 mm thick. Place the apple slices in a baking pan, previously buttered, pour the melted butter on top, sprinkle over the sugar and cinnamon. Cook in grill until golden brown. In a saucepan melt 4 tablespoons of brown sugar , a drop of water, a tablespoon of butter. Stir until a thick sauce.
Composition: one disk, apples above, another disk, apples and syrup.
This entry looks good. Thank you!
