You need a maximum of 7 minutes to prepare this dish. The combination of pork and fruit is something that has been known for generations: apricots, figs and there are recipes where Tea is also used. I decided to try using orange marmalade for this recipe and the result was delicious. As I said to prepare this recipe does not take much time, as usual, its the quality of the few ingredients that makes the difference, a nice fillet, organic orange marmalade without added sugar , a good dry white wine and fresh herbs. Only 7 minutes, ok to be honest maybe 8 including the preparation ….
Serves 4
4 slices of pork fillet
4 tablespoons orange marmalade bio
A knob of butter
Half a glass of wine
Chives
Thyme
Salt and pepper
How it works:
Using a brush or just your finger, spread the pork loin with orange marmalade. In a pan melt the butter with the chives and thyme, finely chopped, add the pork and cook over high heat. When both sides of meat are golden, lower the flame and add the wine. Once the wine has evaporated, add a pinch of salt and pepper. Serve with the sauce and add fresh herbs for garnish.
